Egg Drop Soup


2 cup chicken broth

1/2 teaspoon soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

2 teaspoon cornstarch

4 teaspoons water

2 egg, beaten

2 teaspoon chopped fresh chives

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper


In a small saucepan, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce and sesame oil. Bring to a boil. Stir together the cornstarch and water to dissolve cornstarch; pour into the boiling broth. Stir gently while you pour in the egg.  Season with chives, salt and pepper before serving.
